Valentine’s Day seems to be a really fitting day for BEST’s Stitching It Up artisan and crafting group to begin.
Because it was right around that time in 2012 that a lot of love, a sense of fun and a passion to learn and grow were the ingredients whipped up into a terrific recipe, named Stitching It Up.
Held at Our BEST Space in University Place, Washington, each Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., this group works on various projects like survivor bracelets to build brain injury awareness, quilts, holiday crafts, superhero gear, totes and so much more.
In fact, some of the products are for sale for the general public online. Find items PERFECT for the holidays, birthdays and other special occasions.
Even better, proceeds from sales of Stitching It Up designed products support BEST.
And that’s not even the BEST part.
This welcoming and supportive group really has a lot of fun being together, learning new things and coming up with new ideas.
So, who can participate in Stitching It Up? Everyone! All are welcome and no experience is necessary. There is no fee to participate and most projects are free of charge.
