Brain injury survivors, do you have a disabled parking pass that you display in your vehicle? If so, how has that been going for you?

Many individuals with an invisible/hidden disability, like brain injury, have reported being confronted and challenged when returning to their vehicles parked in a disabled parking space.

Why?

Because their disability can’t be seen.

This unfortunate reality has resulted in one solution created by survivors.

Some clever brain injury survivors have crafted a small sign that they display on their dashboard explaining that they have an invisible/hidden disability, much like the one we created at the BEST organization below.
